My eyes get red and I use good eye doctor recommended eye drops. Some times they're very itchy and even pain.
I've seen an optometrist and an opthamologist and they've suggest I might have allergies causing the redness. The entire white of my eye isn't very white like it used to be like in a younger person. I'm 45 years old. I don't smoke or use drugs of any kind. I do have high blood pressure, cholesterol and am over weight. I don't have a dusty job. I have pets but they aren't allowed to sleep in my bed. I use a high quality HEPA air filter that runs 24/7 in my bedroom. I don't drink. I put on clean clothes daily and I vacuum regularly. I take numerous vitamins from A to Z. HELP.

It's time to visit the allergist and have a test for allergies. You are allergic to something for sure. If it's the pets, nothing you are currently doing will help. It may not be the pets, though, so go get tested.
