I had lasek surgery to cure my short sight and I'm just wondering if anyone else!

I had lasek surgery to cure my short sight and I'm just wondering if anyone else has had it done?

Im getting worried that my surgery has failed.I knew i would need reading glasses after treatment but its got to the stage that when i was out shopping the other day i couldnt focus the change in my purse and i had to give the assistant my money to count.Im 6weeks post op and ive been told it could take up to 4months to reach my true vision.The optician says its coming along nicely,am i just being impatient?i cant even see the vegetables when im cutting them up.My husband is long sighted but if he holds the book away from himself he can usually focus,im unable to do it and so now im really worried.Has anyone else had Lasek and how did they get on?

I was told after the op that Lasek takes longer to heal,has anyone had the Lazek surgery and how long before they could focus properly?

Hi everyone there is a difference between Lasek and lasik.I had the lasek.My daughter had lasik and could see virtually straight away.But with the one i had its different,anyone out there had this lasek one?

I had Lasek and i do laser eye surgery for a living. You are totally normal it just takes a while to adjust. Keep taking dry eye drops (hypromellose)
