Colored contacts questions....Pictures included.?

Currently, I have contacts but am interested in colored contacts. I have a few questions...

1. Are colored contacts worse for your eyes compared to regular contacts?

2. Around how much do they cost?

3. If you have dark brown eyes, will the color you want show up?

And finally...

4. Would they look good on me?

What do you think? Would I look scary or would it look good? Or should I just stay with plain brown? If you think another color would be better, include pictures please.

3. yes. A co-worker has dark brown eyes and her contacts are blue. I met a woman with the most gorgeous green eyes and when I commented on them she told me they were contacts--that her eyes are truly dark brown.
4. I think green would look very flattering on you; but I do think your brown eyes are beautiful.

It is always nice to experiment with different looks. You are a beautiful young woman and I think whatever you choose will be the right decision.
