Crying in contacts?!
Question:
Crying in contacts?
I have soft disposible contact lenses, and every time I cry while wearing them, they get all foggy and stay that way, no matter how many times I rinse them.
Does anyone know WHY they fog over after tears (doesn't make sense to me because you cry saline, which is basically the same thing you rinse them in)? And is there a way to clean them after this so that the fog goes away?
Don't tell me not to cry in them...I'm pregnant and hormonal and that's just not an option sometimes :)
Answers:
We generate different kinds of tears. blinking tears are made up of a different kind of tear. reactional tears might have more calcium or protein in them. I use supraclense daily becuase I have a high protien content. I am not sure this will help, but it might. Call and ask your prescribing doctor, too, they might change your CLs whle you are pregnant becuase your body might make more protien and calcium in your tears if you are eating well and taking prenatal vitamins for your baby. Call them and ask! LORI O^O
