When will I see normal after my cataract surgery?!

Question:

When will I see normal after my cataract surgery?

How many days after surgery will I still see blurry and small light flashes in my eye.

Answers:

It depends on what kind of surgery, what kind of lens and if there were any complications or not. I usually tell my patients that they will get their best possible visual acuity at around 3 months post-op.

Cataract Surgery isn't magic, it's a process that starts with the surgery. You don't get your best possible vision the following day.

Talk to your ophthalmologist I'm sure she/he will be glad to explain.
