Why do I need glasses?
I have 20/20 vision in my left eye and my right has 20/15 and my optomatrist person said 20/15 is perfect even better then 20/20 so why did he perscribe me glasses. Also what causes your eye to blur everyonce in a while? both my eyes(never at the same time) get blurry spots where i cant see anything. It lasts maybe 5-10 seconds and is really annoying it doesn't hurt or anything. Just curious what causes it.

People who are farsighted (they can see things far away clearly) can easily get 20/20 or better because they can see things far away very well. You may need glasses for seeing things up close. Even though you can see them clearly, you may be causing yourself unnecessary eye strain in order to do that. That is what reading glasses are sometimes prescribed for. The eye strain can also cause headaches and sometimes blurry vision.
