Question about visual disturbances...?

If anyone here is an opthamolagist, could you please help? About 8 months ago, I woke up with a bad headache and i began seeing a weird flashing figure in the corner of my left eye. It was gone an hour later however over the past 8 months I've begun seeing visual static, weird sparkling dots, increased after images, strong floaters, and weird black shadows constantly. Anybody know what it could be?

* I forgot to say that I have visited three opthamolagists and had an MRI, but it still worries me.

Check into migranes with auras!!! im not an opthamolagist, but i think i have some experience with what you are describing. I have these, and i had one hell of a time explaining it it to my opthamolagist too!!! Mine start out as a weird dot in my field of vision that slowly gets bigger and bigger and flashes all crazy, then i get a really dense headache. here is a site to kind of help you out- its kind of hard to find too much info about it, but this can help you determine if it might be a migraine with aura...
