What causes that burning feeling in your eyes?
Sometimes when my contacts are in my eyes too long and get dry, my eyes just start to burn and it really hurts! And one time I put in eye drops in them to relieve the discomfort but it just made my eyes burn even more! Why is that?

the lack of liquid in your eyes cause the burning, it is a sense to tell your body to blink so that more liquid can get to your eye. the drynesss isnt good for your eye therefore causes a burning sensation
