Do I still have pink eye?

I had pink eye, which my doctor diagnosed 3 weeks ago. After using the eye drops, my eyes were cleared and I had no more eye drainage. I wore glasses for about a week and thought it was safe to wear a new pair of contacts. However, after wearing my contacts for more than a week I’m getting paranoid since my eyes are dry and there’s a minimal amount of drainage on and off throughout the day. Could this be the hellish amount of allergies going around or could it be pink eye again? Please note – my eyes are not pink at all, though the lower eyelids are a little red (which is not uncommon since I’m on my computer 24/7).

Well your pink eye could be gone, but there is a possibility that you could have re infected yourself! If you are a female... did you throw out the eye liner/mascara that you used previously? Also did you throw out your previous contact lens case? If you ever touched the tip of eye drops to your eye you need to throw it out as well. Also wash your pillow case!! Any of these things could re infect your eye. It is also possible that you could be experiencing allergies or irritation due to extended computer use... To be safe go see your eye doctor again to check it out :)
