Question:
UK: I want to be able to wear contact lenses but know nothing about them...?
Can i order dalies and wear them for special occasions? ie do they keep if i prefer to wear my glasses?
Do they need fitting, or can I just give them my glasses prescription and order them?
How much (in GBP) does a normal pair of contacts cost and how long do they last for?
Anything else I need to know?? :)

Ok, in order of your questions:
- Yes you can get dailies for occasional wear, lots of people have a stash of dailies for sports, going out, holidays etc. They keep for about 3 years, as long as the packet is unopened.
- They need to be fitted by an optician, who will then issue you with a written prescription which you'll need in order to buy lenses online or anywhere else
- Th cheapest daily lens is Focus Dailies, and at Specsavers 30 pairs of lenses is £22. Funnily enough, they last for one days wear.
- Not everyone is suitable for contacts, but most people are so give them a go!
