I I have problem in my rigt eye.Dr. has diognosis it third nom .the lid over my right eye has fallen and shut?
I AM FEELING PAIN MY RIGHT EYE. I see objects much larger and tilting images much brighter. can it be cured by taking medicines. I am 68 years old and diabetic.

From what I got from your question, your doctor diagnosed you with a 3rd cranial nerve palsy.
The possible causes of 3rd nerve palsy for your age group can be :
1. ischemic/vasculopathic cranial nerve palsy (this can be due to your diabetes)
2. the 3rd nerve may be pinched by an aneurysm within the brain
3. there might be a tumor compressing on the nerve.
The fact that you're home and not in the hospital your doctor probably thinks its NOT an aneurysm nor a tumor. It is probably that your doctor thinks it is ischemic.
If it IS a ISCHEMIC CRANIAL NERVE 3 palsy, the accepted treatment is observation. Ischemic cranial nerve palsies should improve spontaneously within 2-3 wks.
It would also be best for you to ask your doctor. I'm sure he/she would be glad to explain further.
