Oh My Goodness My Corneas are on Fire, Who Makes Good Sunglasses?!
Question:
Oh My Goodness My Corneas are on Fire, Who Makes Good Sunglasses?
My eyes are very sensitive to sunlight. I need good mens sunglasses that will Polarize, UV Block and or whatever it takes to keeps my cornea from singeing. It'll probably cost me an arm and a leg to get them and I have heard that some companies will replace destroyed sunglasses no cost.
Again I need suggestions for very effective sunglasses for myself whose eyes are extremely sensitive to sunlight and am a little strapped on cash.

P.S. I do a lot of driving and outdoor activities.

Working as an optometric assistant I learned the best eye protection. It would be best to go to an optical office and buy sunglasses there because they also have 1 or 2 year warranty on your glasses and they'll replace your lenses free one time if they're scratched. You want to go with a gray lens, or otherwise known as a black lens. A gray 3 or 4, and polarized. It also gives you better visibility because it's anti reflective letting the good light into your eyes and protecting from UV rays. A polycarbonate lens has UV protection baked in, this is better than plastic or glass lenses. If you don't need prescription eyeglasses you can get a wrapped style lens, otherwise the style can't be to wrapped because they can't put the prescription power in it. The brand really makes no difference, just a good lens. You can also use your own sunglasses and just replace them with new lenses. So:
1.) Gray lenses
2.) Polycarbonate lenses
3.) Polarized lenses
Those 3 together will make you and your eyes very happy. Also remember to get your eyes checked once a year not just for your vision but because eye doctors can detect illnesses through your eyes too! :) And can catch anything in time to be able to treat it! I hope this information was useful!
