Where can I get color contacts cheap?
I have no idea about contacts...so forgive me for any mistakes.
Are there any stores around Murrieta or Temecula where I can get color contacts for a cheap price? (Preferrably under $30...but I can go up to $50-$60) Now, do I need to do something special before I can get contact lenses? If so, what do I have to do and how much does it cost?
I don't need contacts to see...I just would like color.
Additionally, I have a few questions about contact lenses...
1) Is there any special maintenence that I need? What is it and how much does it cost?
2) Would disposable contacts be more price efficient?
3) Would color contacts be dangerous for my sight if they are cheap? If so, in what ways would they be dangerous?
4) Do I have to get a prescription? Does this cost a lot? How do I go about doing this?
5) How long do you think it would take to get contacts?

Hi. You would be better off saving up for good quality contacts. Your present budget would buy you cheap, rip-off, dangerous and potentially blinding contacts.
1) The only maintenance you need is to wash them regularly. Normally, with good quality contacts, the cleaning solution comes with the contacts.
2) Not necessarily. Disposable contacts, in the short run may be more price efficient but think about the long run. You are better off buying a good pair of non-disposable contacts.
3)Yes, cheap colour contacts could endanger your sight. Visit: http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/new_zealande... and read up on the story of a man living in Auckland, New Zealand, who used colour contacts and ended up with an infected cornea. He is now blind in one eye.
4) No, you don't need a prescription for colour contacts.
5) Immediately. You don't need to be a certain age or have prescription or reference etc.
