I have floaters?!

Question:

I have floaters?

I have floaters in my eyes, I am a dental lab technician and work on very small objects (teeth) and work a lot under a 10 power microscope. There's very poor lighting in the lab and the lab is very dusty. Can my profession make my floaters worse? Is my job causing the floaters?

I haven't seen a doctor yet, I'm not aware of anybody in my family having it but I've never asked.

Yes, I'm stressed. Also, my job causes a lot of strain on my eyes and body.

My floaters are like squigly lines, almost like fine hairs, some seem closer than others. They're black and there's a lot of them.

Answers:

Everyone has floaters, they usualy come when you look into light so the cornea is revealing the layer of jelly on your eye and what rests on it. If they occur when its dark id book an appointment with an optician. Are you stressed or anxious? Thyroid problems can cause it aswell.
