Does one contact lense prescription variy dependng on the brand of lenses used?
The new brand had the same power but had a different curvature.

Yes, I asked the same question to my optometrist and he said it's just like shoes. You know your shoe size but sometimes the shoes you buy might be a little bigger/smaller depending on the brand and its type (especially for girls). So your eye prescription is kinda like your shoe size.
