Do you have to be a certain age to wear or get contacts in the US?
i want to get contacts and i am 13
my mom said that you have to be a certain age to get them
i dont believe her so thats why i am asking other people

You and your Mom need to talk to your eye doctor. He/she can reccommend when is a good time for you to have contacts depending on your specific eye condition. Then, of course, you need to demonstrate responsibility to your Mom. I had a teen who wanted contacts and the doc suggested age 14. I was hesitant, but found that the cost of the contacts that you change every 2 weeks was about the same as glasses for a year. And...my son did prove to be responsible with his contact lenses.
