HELLLPP!! My eye is swollen shut and I have a final at 4pm!! What should I do??!

Question: I don't know what triggered my swollen eye, but there are many possibilities as to why it happened:

-First, I was using my eyes ALOT yesterday. I took a 3-hour final at 8am, then took a couple-hour break, then studied non-stop for 4+ hours. at that point, my eyes were red, achy, and very bloodshot.
-Another thing, when I tried to sleep last night, I had a constant feeling that there was something stuck in my eye. I tried to flush it out with water, but the object in my eye was further irriating my already irritated eye.
-When I woke up, my eyes were sealed shut with a dried-up mucous-like substance. Once I've cleared that up, I realized that my right eye is swollen shut.

How can I make the swelling down so I can study a bit longer and take my final at 4pm? HELLLLPPPP!

Well, since your health is the most important part of this problem, I would suggest either seeing an optometrist or going to the emergency room. I don't want to scare you, but you never know how serious (or not) it is. At first I thought it was pink eye, but since your eye is swollen shut, it's probably not.

Also, notify your professor as soon as possible. He/she should understand that this is an emergency and be good- hearted enough to understand that your health should come first.Ask if you can reschedule. If worse comes to worst, it is only a grade. Your health comes first.

Good luck on all your exams!!!

Can you even get to class?
Write you professor an email and tell them this or just go to class and s/he will see that you can't possibly take the final.

how can you type? my solution is you stop faking.

mm seems you got an eye infection, try not to touch your eyes and use some eye drops, but if it gets really serious then go to the doctor immediately.
