Soft/disposable contact lenses - how long is too long?!

Question: ok i've had in this same pair of Acuvue Oasis contact lenses in from sometime in October until now. i know that you can gfo blind from old contact lenses because of the lack of oxygen which pull the veins forward in your eye, but i have no choice. i can't afford new ones just yet and i don't have any glasses either...

so i'm wondering how much longer i can do this since it is absolutly necessary - if it wasn't i would have had in NEW lenses a LONG time ago...

i wash them every day with Opti-Free solution - what my eye doctor told me i need to use with this brand of lenses.

is 3 months already too long or do i have a little bit of evtra time?

my vision isn't good enough to be able to just sdimply go without, i'm blind enough where if i were to look at the traffic lights with the orange hand and the white man i would only see grey smudgyness, and if your face was 2 feet away from mine, i can't make out facial features, your face would be a blurry, smugde of what your skin tone is..

You've WAY over-used these things. When I got contacts, they told me to put in a new pair every 28 days. that said, many things outlast their "official" time limit. But when dealing with your eyes, I wouldn't risk it. Borrow the money from a friend. If they can't afford to give it to you, ask multiple friends for small donations.

Good luck.

Ugh. Are you going to have the money to pay for the corneal ulcer treatment your setting yourself up for? Contact lenses are a privilege, not a right. If you can't afford them, you should have gotten a pair of glasses. Come up with some money and buy some more contacts. Another box or two will run you $30-60. Treating an ulcer will cost you CONSIDERABLY more.

Sweetie it i time to see theDr,
