Do you think lenscrafters does a bad job?!
Question: I was thinking of going to lenscrafters but i know its more expensive. is the quality better just because of the price. i know some people complain but im not sure if its just because they expect "better" quality just because its lenscrafters

I think lenscrafters is awful. My boyfriend got glasses from there and he had to go back 4 different times because the lenses were cracking and once the paint began peeling off. I have worn glasses my entire life, so has he, and neither of us had experienced anything like that.
I will say, however, they had excellent customer service.
Can I suggest you check out buying eye glasses online? I know that sounds crazy at first, but I bought mine online and I love them, and they were only 20 dollars - frames, lenses, tax and shipping. The website I bought mine from is www.zennioptical.com - I bought mine from the 8 dollar frame catagory. I get compliments on them all the time - I have had really expensive glasses before and never got complimented on them like I do with these.

This guy buys glasses online and reviews the companies he buys from. They all have ratings, and he also has links to other online eye glass places and tips and info on how to buy glasses online. Also he has a photo gallery of people who sent in pictures of them wearing the glasses they bought online, including their testimonials, experiences and reviews.
I can say I know two other people who bought from zennioptical and they were both really happy with their purchase. I tried on eye glasses at regular stores to get an idea of the shape I wanted and went from there. Honestly? I will never EVER buy glasses from any eyeglass store ever again.

Lenscrafters does an excellent job. But please do not go to America's Best if you have one. They are horrible, cheap but completely horrible.
Ive been going to lens crafters for around 25 years and never had a problem, accept with one of the sales associates, acting like a jack a** one time. other than that Ive always got great results on my contacts and glasses. they are higher but that's the price you have to pay if you need your glasses or contacts in a hurry.
Lenscrafters is the best!!

this never happened to me at lenscrafters.
