Are there any exercises to improve the vision that work, or should I just go get!

Question: Lasik surgery, that scares the heck out of me, having someone with a knife cutting my eye. So I have to say no to that.

just get glasses they are like an accessory now they could look HOT! HOT! HOT!

There are some that work in particular circumstances, but not as a general rule.

*Some* people who appear to have gone short-sighted have not, but have locked their focus into reading mode, with the eye muscles not relaxing for distance vision: "Ciliary spasm."

Here, eye exercises can make a drastic difference.
I've shifted someone four lines on an eye chart in three minutes, from time to time.

But if it's genuine short sight, the acuity won't respond.

A separate issue is exercises to improve the coordination between the two eyes: for binocular stability or flexibility.
These perhaps have a better track record.

Depending on what your eye problem is __sometimes looking at something up close for awhile and then looking at something at a distance off and in will help. Also the chineese have an idea that if you put one finger on your eyeball and tap it ten times a couple times a day helps. Also there is a medicine called VISION FORMLUA, made by equate /with leutine which I use when my vision gets cloudy and that helps also. But even if none of these help you they at least won't hurt to try. And glasses really are'nt so bad cause I have worn them since I was a sixth grader. If the kids tease you --tell them you think they look sofisticated. It is ok to wear glasses.
