Sure, then you and the other six posters here can all enjoy your red eyes and corneal ulcers. This is NOT a big con by anyone. Its an attempt to get the public to not destroy their eyesight by wearing their lenses too long. Like I've said before, docs make much more money treating your corneal ulcers and inflammations than they do selling contacts. Apparently, people's pocketbooks are more important.
yes they can! this is the big con with them as long as you clean them properly its fine
edit - in response to the eye guy this subject was actually on watchdog and the spokesman for one of the companies who makes them admitted this could be done
YES. they're only called monthly so the companies can get more money from you buying them every month when you dont need to
I've worn some for more than 2 months...taken them out once a week to clean......would have lasted a lot longer too!
I get rid of mine when I can no longer wear them anymore. That way I know I'm getting my monies worth out of them.

They shouldn't be....I know a lot of people who now have problems with their eyes, because they wore their contacts for too long. In fact, a lot of people are starting to say that even wearing contacts is bad for you..although it is your choice...
"Disinfected" is one thing, "cleaned" is another.
Protein and other sunbstances will build up on lenses, and those can cause reactions and problems in the absence of any bacterial contamination.

No they can't .They collect protein and give you a lot of eye problems . Its a bit like these people who come on here and brag about how they abuse cleaning and keeping their lenses in overnight . Because it works once they assume you can abuse them all the time.Until they get a serious eye problem.Its like the solutions you should also get rid of them after 28 days.
