Question: I have a lazy eye and I can see double vision if I make myself. When I see double vision, my right eye(my dominant eye) turns outwards and my left eye(lazy eye) stays normal. But when I see double vision the other way when I go cross eyed, only my lazy eye turns inwards.

My little brother (10) has lazy eye. He has had to wear a patch over his good eye for like 3 years. Now his eyes are almost fixed and he is about to be able to quit wearing the patch. I have a friend that has it too, when you get close and look at her eyes, one turns the other way.

Woah hun!! Thats sounds a little cool. Unless you dont like the whole double vision thing. But dont get mad at me if its a burden to you. I dunno what its like to have a lazy eye.
There is no way that you have double vision in what you stated.
Your lazy eye is normally pointed inward toward the nose which means your good eye looks to the left and that's where the lazy eye stays the same.
If your left eye looks to the right then you're looking cross eyed. This is my best explanation of what you described.
Bingo!! just as my left eye was already lopsided,I read your eye question. I believe its a certain set of eye muscles that can do that,mine seem to do it on there own,but I can make one eye move and one stay still,then things look skued

Lazy eye is where one eye is blind because it depends on the domiant eye.Strabismus the eyes don't focus on the same spot.Lazy eye is aform of strabismus. Ihave strabismus my eye acts that way.one stays strait the other sees cross eyed. My girl friends thought it was funny.
i don't have that problem with my left eye... nor have a lazy eye... if you do have or encounter having it.. better consult an ophthalmologist...
