I think this issue really depends upon what you mean by "I don't need them." Just because you see clearly without glasses doesn't mean that you can't benefit from them in other ways. Some studies have shown that people who wear fashionable eyewear are viewed as more intelligent and "on the ball" by their superiors at work and therefore tend to be promoted up the corporate ladder more quickly than their non spectacled coworkers. So if you feel they could give you an edge (no differently than wearing sharp clothes, etc) then it is perfectly fine to get a pair of sharp optical quality frames and lenses ground to a zero power. They will not interfere with you vision and may actually help in other ways. Go for it.
me too! you can get glasses with false lenses. definitely do not get glasses with a real prescription; they will damage your eyes.
My opinion is: I wouldn't get them because, I wanted them really bad too a couple years ago. I asked my mother if I could get them. She had said No. She had said No because, she said if I can see fine I don't need them because, they can damage your eyes when you get older. So, I think you should not get glasses.
I wear glasses and so many times I wish that I didn't. I hate wearing glasses. I use to wear contacts and liked them so much better. My sister use to wear glasses with the lenses that are only glass and she ruined her eyes so now she has to wear glasses all the time.
I think as far as fashion goes, we have FINALLY gotten to the point that if you feel comfy and confident, you're going to look good!? Wear what you want hun!!! If you go to "Claire's" or "The Icing" in your local mall, they have tons of adorable/fashionable glasses that look like normal/real ones for under $10!! They're very cute and I think they're a perfect accessory! Happy Shopping! :)
just go to an optical center and have clear glass lenses. but no prescription- your eyes will get used to it and need that prescription for real. and if you change your eyes to NOT want glasses- well there you are. your lucky you dont have to wear them- i cant get contacts because i will get a lazy eye. but i found the right ones for my face :]

You can buy plano lenses (lenses with no strength in them) just for the "look".
But before you do, bear in mind that people make fun of celebrities who do this to try to look intelligent. David Beckham springs to mind. And observant people CAN tell a plano lens when they see it.
