Is it alright to wear contacts longer than the time given?!

Question: I have night and day contacts that are supposed to last for a month. However, I have the same contacts now for 4 months. And they don't bother me at all. I have never cleaned them since the day I put them on because I can wear it all day.

Is this bad? My eyes don't hurt at all, they feel perfectly fine.

It's very bad, but you can very easily get away with it for a while, right up until the point where suddenly you can't.

I suggest you drive on your tyres til they're bald.
You can save money that way, too. And often get away with it.

You are increasing the risk of infections, of toxic reaction from epithelial cell debris and protein deposits, as well as of problems with contact lens tolerance in future years.

But it's your eyes, it's your bet.

Some "short-term" contacts are the very same ones we used to wear for years. They are marketed differently, but as they say, "Same whore, different dress" The point being, one never can be sure given your brand, but your optometrist will shoot you straight, most likely.

u really have to clean them ,,,or ur eyesight would weaken down ...

Whether your lenses are supposed to last a day or a month, it
