I have a scratch on my eye?!
Question: I was rubbing my eye yesterday and all the sudden I felt like there was something in my eye. I washed with water, eye wash, and put naphon A drops in there. I also had my fiance look with a flash light on my eye ball, underneath my lid, but nothing to be found. I slept on it and it still hurt so I looked at it again and there was a scratch on my eye and my fiance said it looks like I have a bump underneath my eye lid too. Is it a sty, do I have something in my eye still? I was told to put bacitracin on it too. Anything else I can do. BTW I don't want to go to the doctor!

You could have anything from a scratch to pink eye or yes, even a sty. You may not want to go to the doctor...but, there are no home remedies to fix it. The doctor can give you drops or cream that can provide instant relief. Just go to an urgent care facility...don't mess with your eyes....after all this time...I guarantee that there is nothing in your eye....it can be as simple as a scratch...that needs ointment.
