That's not uncommon, it's referred to as "dominance." Most people are dominant in one eye or the other. Meaning their brain prefers one eye over the other for one reason or another(physical or mental) In your case your glasses simply correct it normally, which is why the optomitrist had to check both your eyes individualy. However, there may be a different problem all together with your left eye, I believe (though am in no way educated on the matter beyond my own research) astigmatism may cause problems like this. The only way to be sure you know exactly what it is is to ask the next time you're examined.

So, what I'm saying is in medicine theres no 100% correct easy answer that fits for everyone, at least not without being able to examine you. Sorry.

Edit- Gah, Saved by Grace beat me to the "Thats not uncommon" opener while I was typing. Next time I'll have to be quicker to the draw... *shakes fist*

wear your glasses and if they aren't clear enough for you then get an optometrist appointment and a new pair of glasses. If you notice the glare when you have your glasses on then maybe you need a very light tint. If you have problems when not wearing your glasses then you need to wear your glasses all the time.

That is not uncommon. Your two eyes rarely are the same as far as sight. One might be weaker or stronger than the other.

it's the same exa t thing with me, i dunno but you should be weraing your glasses...lol
