The exam will be about the same for contact as it is for glasses except they do one more test. Your sit at a machine and look into it. They measure your eyes. It doesn't hurt and just takes a minute.

Most important is to get pointers on how to get your contacts in and out.

The trick is to look PAST your eye when you are looking in the mirror. Kind of like zoning out. Maybe he can describe it better. And don't give up, it's a bit difficult to get them in for the first few days, but then you'll get the hang of it and can do it without a mirror.

Good luck .......

yes, they will probably do a test that any optometrist would do. They also play a little movie about how to take care of your contacts as well as how to take care of your eyes, sanitation, etc....

They will also ask if you want dailies, bi weekly, or one pair of contacts.

If you are really blind, they are not gonna have disposable-color contacts, you are going to have to get ONE PAIR with color, or just disposable clear ones...that happened to me

when I went in they told me they were giving me a training session but the stupid person filed papers and kept saying stuff like keep trying so I kind of had to teach myself
