When Buying Eye Glasses, Thinner vs. Thicker?!
Question: Which one is getter, not visual strong but physical strong like if you were to drop on it, which is more durable, and which one overall would be better to get. And can you tell me some reason why, like make a comparison between the two if possible.

go with the ones prescribed. if your lenses are generally thick, pay the extra money for the "featherweight" lenses. talk to your optician about your specific needs for frames, etc.
Polycarbonate is impact resistant (when made to a specified thickness it can be used for bulletproof glass), but recently they have come out with an even stronger option then that it is called Trivex.
If you are talking about lenses, I would suggest thinner. Thick lenses are heavier and land harder when they fall. I do get thicker frames also, because I'm clumsy
Happy holidays to you :).
