Is it in your eye? If they are, then you might need to adjust them so they properly align.
I've had contacts since September and sometimes I feel them on my eyelid so I have to adjust them. Just close your eyes and massage the eye lids. If they are aligned and you still feel uncomfortable, talk to your optometrist about it.

I just got mine today too. And I don't think that's normal, I can't even feel mine. Maybe you put it on inside out.

It will take some time for you to get used to the contact lenses. Are they the soft or rigid type? Rigid lenses take longer to get used to.

You should also check that you are putting them in the correct way.
