No, I've had them for 3 years and they are a HUGE help. The only thing annoying about them is that when you get something in your eye, it hurts SO bad. But otherwise, they've been great for me.
But, I have had it go behind my eye, but it didn't hurt as bad as people say. I just put eyedrops in and blinked as much as possible and it slid back up in about 2 minutes.

yeah because u mess with ur eyes

No they are not bad for you. I have had them for over 10 years and love them... try them, you will love them.

No, if you take good care of them. Contact lens require a lot more mainterance than regular glasses, you need switch them often like weeks but depend on the lens, also require you do take eye drops and clean the lens few times daily. If you don't take them good care every time it might have eye disease.

If you leave them in too long, like overnight they can damage your eyes.

I've had contacts for 2 years.
Nothing bad has happened.

Except dropping the dang things on the floor.
>.<

Merry xmas
:]

No they arnt but they dry my eyes out so i dont wear em.

No no. Contact lens are safe if you use them correctly. You can't go blind in them because they do the opposite of that. I don't believe they can be lost in your eyes... that's doubtful.

Contact lens are easy to lose and increase the risk of eye infection. Use them wisely.

The only time it can be bad is if you leave them in for a REALLY long time. Just take them out every night and you'll be fine (it's okay if you forget now and then). They can actually be GOOD for your eyes, like they can reshape your eyes to improve your vision sometimes. The worst that really ever happens is they make your eyes kinda dry

no they cant get lost in your eyes. They are actually better than glasses becuase they put less strain on your eyes. Also they are better looking. the bad part is they are more expensive and you must clean them every night so you wont get an ifected lense. Or you could get everyday lens where you throw them out. Although they cost more than the ones that u use every day.

They can be if you don't clean them. Dirt in your eyes is never good! It's not very likely that you'll go blind, hun! They can't get lost in your eyes because they have no where to go but stay in front of your pupils. I know that contacts are flexible and easy to put in and out.

I've worn contact lenses for 18 years and the only complaint I can tell you is that if you don't take them out at night or often for your eyes to breathe you may end up with bloodshot looking eyes (have to look hard to see) but Acuvue lenses are supposed to be breathable.

The only safety issue for lenses that I know of is for firefighters as extreme heat might cause them to burn to your eye, but if you're that close to the fire you've probably got other issues going on anyway.

Contacts are worlds better than glasses.

my mom wore contacts but hated them cuz she said she felt like there was "dust" in her eyes

i, on the other hand, love contacts. theyre so convenient and comfortable that i forget i even have them on. talk to an optometrist about getting contacts and he/she should know the best for your type of eyes. ofcourse it's gonna be hard to get them on in the beginning. it took me 45 minutes my first time to get only one contact on haha. good luck and dont be scared of it.

I have contacts.
I got them when i was 13 (I'm 15 now)
i LOVE them.
sometimes if you rub your eye they move but its not hard at all to get them back in place.
They also dont hurt at all, i forget i have mine in sometimes.
And sometimes if i forget to take them out and i fall asleep, all i have to do is put some drops in when i wake up and its fine. (I asked my doctor, he dosnt recomend it but he said im alright)

and they dont make you blind! and i find they are way better then glasses

hope this helps.

rememeber if you get them to always have clean hands when putting them in, and to not put them in backwards or the wrong eye!

I asked my eye doctor about this, and the worst thing that can happen is they get broken, and you just rinse your eyes, or swim with your eyes open. They can, however, slide into he back of your eyes if you swim with your eyes open (only if theyre not damaged) Then you look in the corners of our eyes until they slide back into place. Just make sure you wash them every day.

Its actually funny you ask, I went from wearing the latest breathable contacts to old technology just to get some color contacts and boy it wasn't worth it. My eyes were always too dry and eventually they didn't get enough air and I got a ulcer in one eye and I couldn't even open the eye but luckily it was barely on the white of my eye so it didn't do any permanent damage but it did cost me about $1,000 in medical costs with prescriptions and all. If you notice, most eye doctors wear glasses. Ha. So yeah if you stay with the latest most breathable contact then your pretty safe and just remember at any sign of red eyes or dry eyes its probably best to take them out and put on the glasses for a while till the redness goes away. And eye drops help too. =) The safe way to go is glasses but they have made great advances in technology so just as your eye doctor for the latest contacts and he will let ya know. One of the good ones is accuvue oasis but then they came out with a couple better ones after that so its now outdated. So best of luck and anymore questions just go and ask the eye doctor, he can answer them better than any of us. =)

Of course not dude

I have had contact lenses for about 6 months, they are great. HYGIENE is essential, wash your hands before you put them in and take them out, or they will make your eyes sore. It takes a while to master the art of putting them in, but once you get the hang of it, its a breeze. I use a magnified mirror, like a make-up mirror. NO they won't harm your eyes, but you must be hygienic. Merry Christmas

i don't know sorry i don't wear contacts lend but merry christmas
