I have pink eye and I'm scared!!! Please help me!?!
Question: Okay, i'm 13 and i have pink eye, so does my little 4 year old brother, what can i do to make it stop, or from getting worse?

Pink Eye is a virus. It takes a week to clear, with or without medication. The eye drops your doctor will give you are to reduce the swelling, itching and irritation -- but don't actually kill the virus. (Like a cold, you can treat the symptoms, but the cold virus takes a week to die).
But, you can prevent spreading the virus to other people by:
Keeping your hands away from your eyes.
Not sharing towels, cloths, sunglasses, contact lenses.
Use a fresh washcloth and warm water to wipe the goo and crusty stuff from your eyes (don't rub!). Then use hot water when doing the laundry.
If you wear contacts, throw away the current (infected) pair, and don't put in new ones until your eyes are completely recovered (a week or more). The virus will live in the contacts and can't be cleaned off or boiled out (lenses have pores, and the virus gets down in there out of reach).
Change your pillowcase each day, too. Wash them in hot water.
The little brother will have a tough time not rubbing or itching his eyes, so everyone in the family needs to help him by using warm compresses (warm, moist washcloth), helping him keep his hands washed, etc.
Some people will also advise Benedryl (an allergy medication) which can reduce your bodies 'itch' trigger, helping them itch less.
Put something cold on your eye for the time being,
but get to a doctor so it doesnt lead to an infectionn worse!
You won't die. Go to the doc, get some drops, wash your hands a lot.
If it is a sty then put a tea bag on your eye. Also - when you wake up in the morning, before you brush your teeth, put a little of the spit from your mouth on your eye (I know it sounds gross but it works.)
If it is an infection - go to the doctor and get medicine.
Your Pediatrician can prescribe antibiotic eye drops that will make it all go away. For now, try to keep your hands away from your eyes and wash your hands with soap and water when you do touch them. It is spread by contact!
Well I got it when I was 7. Don't be scared it is nothing to worry about. Get eye drops from your pharmacy and stay AWAY from other people it is contageous. You can put a damp cloth on your eys to wash the goop out. Don't rub your eyes, that will just make it worse. Wash your hands with soap and water. Hope you get better!

I'd have to assume you already went to the eye dr and got eye drops to use. If not have your parents go do that.
Use the drops, wash your hands frequently this will keep it from spreading between your eyes if it hasn't already gotten in both and to keep you parents from getting it. Don't share towels with anyone else in the house, don't touch your eyes or rub them. You can put cool washcloth on your eyes and it will make them feel a little better, don't reuse it until it is washed though.
You will be fine. It's just annoying.
Flush all the goop out of your eyes every hour with warm water. If you have antibiotic eye drops from the doctor put them in after you get all the crusty goop out.
Don't be afraid, it will go away in 3 to 7 days even if you do nothing but wash it out. Also, don't touch it unless you wash your hands first--it will get worse. It is very contagious.

just dont touch it, and keep the keds the dr gives u in it,

Easy to get rid of - anit-biotic drops from your doctor or polysporin drops from the parmacy. It is very contagious so get it looked at A.S.A.P.
it's sore eyes. don't scratch it. it would get irritated. go to a doctor to have a proper prescription for your medicine. but if you cant go to a doctor, go to drug store buy 'Visine' the red one.
Please use only tissue paper not towel when wiping all of those green thing and tears that will come out of your eyes. When you use tissue paper, throw it away immediately and use another one.
eventually it will heal 5-7 days

pink eye isn't bad. you need to get a prescription and then within 24 hours you will be completely fine.
Wash your hands just like you would if you had a cold pink eye is just a cold in the eye get some drops and you will be fine
