Bad eyes...?!

Question: If you have glasses and you don't wear them, is it bad for your eyes? And I read somewhere that too much computer or reading in dim light isn't actually bad for your eyes, but I've believed otherwise for years. Is it true?

Not wearing glasses is actually better. Minus lenses prescribed by doctors for myopia actually worsen it in time. And plus lenses prescribed for longsightedness also worsen it. There is a detailed scientifical explanation here: http://www.myopia.org/08chapter3.htm

When i first heard about this I thought it was crap, but since the eye doctor gave me no chance of reducing my myopia I said i should believe what I've read online on some sites and try giving up my glasses. Soon after that my eyes started recovering very fast. I wore plus lenses at all near work I was doing (PC, books) and my diopter reduced in time. I had -2.50 in both eyes and I now see perfectly. So as far as I am concerned, this theory is proven.

Computers and reading (not just in dim light) cause myopia if they are *prolonged and done at an unhealthy distance* (less than 60 cm from the eyes). If you only use the pc some hours a day and read in good light, holding the book at a correct distance, you shouldn't get myopia.

Actually, not wearing them makes your eyes stronger because when you wear them it makes your eyes "lazy" as in they don't work hard enough.
Different opinions and studies have been placed. I think it might be bad, but then again it might not. Believe whatever you want!
