Color contacts? HELP!?!

Question: ok so i have a prescription, and my own contact lens specialist. right now, i have normal contact lenses. but i want colored ones. could my contact lens specialist give me colored contact lens w/ a prescription? and i want like a dark violet color, is there such an option?

when you say contact lens specialist, do you mean an eye doctor? cause optometrists and opthamologists are the only ones whoc an write rx's for contacts. And if you're gonna change brands or from clear to color, you need a new rx.

The dark violet color is only really gonna work if you have dark eyes to begin with. Acuvue makes a violet lens.
