Answers: It's been doing this for 2 weeks now.

although you say you are not lacking sleep,it could be your not getting a quality sleep, and your eye muscles arent settling down.hense this problem,I think its called REM(rapid eye movement), My doctor prescribed something,a tranquiliser,I think to help me rest, and then I was ok after this.so dont dismiss this, just because your sleeping.go see your doctor.

Mobile phone

tiredness!

see doctor don t mess about with your eyes

I've had that and it's lasted for ages too! I think it's a trapped nerve and it goes away as suddenly as it arrived.

i got same prob i just cant stop winking..i have had some funny looks i can tell ya!

It could be the result of stress, lack of sleep, fatigue, prolonged staring or eye strain, or even hereditary. There isn`t really a cure so you`ll just have to put up with it, basically. It`s usually nothing serious though, so don`t worry! Hope I`ve helped xx

It is usually caffeine, not enough sleep, or both.

Tiredness - get a decent nights kip!

stress and tiredness...sleep will help camomile tea will too other wise your going blind due to **** lihgting and being on your PC too much

omg this happens with me too and usually it happens when ive been lacking in the amount of sleep i get and youre just tired and after you make up for the time you havent slept or just get a long sleep it will go away...this happens to me a lot and its always i dont get enough sleep...and it is really annoying

Using computers can cause it. If you read the intruction manuals in video games it warns that prolonged use can cause involuntary eye twitches.

i get when i am stressed or very worried about something.

Bathe eye with warm saline solution, to relax nerves.
Possible cause:
Stress
Tiredness/ eye strain [Consult G P or Optician ]
Foreign body
Infection
Require spectacles

I've had that multiple times due to eye strain. You must rest it. You need to lie down and put a compress on as much as you can. try to limit reading and the computer. Hard to do at this time of year, but you have strained your eyes, if that doesn't work may need new glasses or eye exam

I had this for several months this year, but it finally stopped about 6 weeks ago. Don't worry about it. I put it down to looking at this computer screen too much.

herititary, nerves.Call your eye doctor and find out

trapped nerve or possibly diet that you are on.too much sugar or caffine

It's tiredness or stress
