Contacts...?!
Question: Im going to the eye doctor for contacts this friday. Shes also going to give me an eye exam to make sure my perscription hasnt changed & i was wondering if i am going to get them then or will they make me wait another week or so to get them like they do with glasses? Will she have them in her office or something? & also if you have contacts would you recommend them?

Whenever I go for the appointment they always give me a pair of contacts when I am there. Especially if they have to order my prescription. And yeah, I would reccomend contacts. They are way better than glasses in my opinion. You just have to be really careful about always washing your hands before you put them in and stuff like that.
when I went to get my first contacts, the doctor recommended weekly ones and he gave me a pair for a week till the whole order was filled. as to which contacts to recommend - it'll depend on how often and for how long you will wear them - doctor will be the best person to answer all your questions.
If the eye doc has your strenghth of perscription in stock you could get them that day.
But lots of people have odd shaped eye and they need to be ordered or if you have astigmatism they need to be ordered.
I used to have contacts for about 15 years but my eyes are too dry now and they bother me so I don't wear them.
Just remember when you put them into your eye to look at your eye in the mirror and not at your finger coming at you.
yes u r going 2 have 2 wait a week and contacts are wwaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy better than glasses. my eye doctor had me sit there and c if i was able 2 out them in my eyes easily first. get contacts. if u don't u will regret it.
