cataract operation is very normal now a days. it is a lazor operation and within an hour you can come back to your home with a bandage on the eye operated upon, next day the bandage will be removed and to wear dark glass for a week or so. Eye specialist will explain in details. cost depends upon the lens which u choose. whether it is local or imported. charges varies from 15000 to 50000 depends the area. all the best.
phacoemulsification is the best procedure available nowadays, & it is available very freely. also the lens used in this procedure is also good & complication rate is also very low. but in all this research for a good lens, i would advice u to research for a good eye surgeon as he will be able to guide u best on what is best ur eyes.
