Is it okay to wear my glasses all the time?!

Question: My prescription is .25 -50 x90 and -.50sph. I seem to be getting more headaches when I'm NOT wearing them, but I know my prescription is very low. Does it really make that much of a difference?

You get headaches because your eyes are now adjusted to your lenses and when you look at life without them your eyes have to re-adjust which gives you a headache. You either need to wear them all the time or not at all to avoid the headaches. Personally I would wear them, it's nice to be able to see!

Do what your optometrist tells you.

yes, it makes you look sophisticated:D

yes, your eyes need to adjust to them

Well only if you want to be totally dependent on them.

I wear glasses, and if its just early days with your glasses i had really bad headaches and felt dizzy all the time, but it passes over time, good luck =)

I only just got glasses. I need them for a variety of things, but not all the time. But I tend to either wear them all the time or not at all, too much hassle to keep taking on and off! I have -.75 prescription.

But when I was at my optician, he said I was eligible for contacts, which is kinda the equivalent of wearing glasses all the time...so it must be ok.

wow thats a very low prescription. (Mines -5.00) Obviouly im in trouble if I'm without glasses any time. There's no disadvantage by not wearing glasses alll the time. Personally I like girls in glasses

That is up to you.
I have -1.50 prescription and I don't wear it all the time.

If you feel comfortable in it, you should.

But I suggest that you shouldn't wear them all the time, you can become dependent on it and it's harder for your eyes to have a natural 20/20 vision again.
