2. No night time blurryness

Cons:
1. Look bad on some people
2. Highly affected by the weather
3. Fog up
4. If they break, you're stuck!
5. No peripheral vision!!

=Contacts=
Pros:
1. Put them in in the morning, take them out at night (or, if your doctor says it's okay, Put them in once a week, take them out once a week)
2. Not affected by the weather
3. (Most) Protect your eyes against UVA and UVB rays
4. Come in packs of 6, so if you lose one, just put in another!
5. Can't be seen!
6. Great peripheral vision!
Cons:
1. Easy to rip
2. Fog up at night (or when you are tired)
3. Can be a hassle to get in (sometimes)
4. Slightly higher risk of infection.
5. Expensive! Have to be bought every six months.

I think you get my point. Personally, I think contacts are better because you can't see them and you can forget they are in, unlike glasses, where you lose most of your peripheral vision.

I'm all for glasses. Sorry, I don't like the whole messing with my eyes, losing contacts, redness, intense irritation from smoke, calcium build up on the lenses etc, etc, etc. Maybe your mom just needs a more stylish pair of glasses. Besides, you have to wear sunglasses anyway, so why contacts?

Today just about everyone can wear contact lenses, and there are more healthful and convenient contact lens options than ever before. Contact lenses are used to correct the same conditions that eyeglasses correct. For all details, information and remedies about contacts check out http://use-contactlens.blogspot.com/

Contacts are not always for everyone. It is okay to wear glasses. It may be less expensive depending on the kind of glasses you want and need. Contacts can be very expensive.

Another con with contact lens is, if you drop one, it'll be hard to find. You'll find yourself crawling around on the floor looking for it.
I realize people usually look better without glasses than with them. Another con is being able to see to put them in and if you can touch your eye with your finger.
