The most important thing is to make sure that you have your eyes as wide as you can...make sure you have a good grip on your upper and lower lashes. Particularly the upper lashes...pull them back to your upper orbital bone. Also, having a moist contact lens and dry finger tip helps. As far as taking the lenses off (usually easier), you can tuck your chin down into your chest and while looking into a mirror, pull the contact lens down onto the white part of your eye and grap out. If you continue to have problems, you may want to return to your eye doctor's office and see if they can watch you and give you more tips.

the easiest way for me to put contacts in is this:
if you're putting a contact in your right eye, tilt your head to the left. using your left hand hold your lashes open. with your right hand put the contact in on the right corner of the eye. for some reason this angling helps me.
vice versa for the other eye.

i just pinch them when i'm taking them out.

Put in some eyedrops before you try to take them out (I actually just drop some saline solution in my eye even though you're not really supposed to). This makes it easier to move off of your cornea. Put your finger on the edge of the lens and look towards your nose. Let your eye move rather than the lens, then it will be easy to pinch off your eyeball.

hold your eyelids wide open, try to put the bottom half of the lens inside the lower lid, then put the top half on your eye... it should stick to your eye at that moment

to take out, make sure your fingers are completely dry and your nails are cut... the lens would stick to your fingers better that way
