What continuous wear contacts are most comfy?!
Question: from many friends' and my own experience, i dare confidently say that acuvue oasys are the best lenses around.
i have tried all three. the problem with purevision is that is so very think and rigid. it causes the cornea's epithlium to wear off. alcon did a a research on this and found that purevision causes the most corneal staining among all contact lenses (due to the damage to the epithelium).
focus night and day allows the most oxygen to pass through amoung all contact lenses. but all silicone hydrogel lenses (this includes the 3 u mentioned) allows normal oxygen transmission from the atmosphere to the cornea. i would recommend focus on top of acuvue because focus' lenses are very slippery and hard to handle. in addition, bi-weekly disposible lenses (acuvue) would definitely be cleaner than monthly disposible (focus)
i know all these because i can get all the lenses i want for free =)

to be fair, i have only tried the Focus night and day ones. I wore them for like 3 days, couldn't stand them. they felt like they were going to fall out. i don't think the other brands would be much better. Why exactly do you want continuous wear? I use Focus dailies and they are awesome. I very frequently sleep in them even though you aren't supposed to. It doesn't cause anything worse than mild irritation.
Your doctor can give you free trial lenses, so you can try them all if you like. You should ask yourself if you really need overnight lenses though. They are expensive to lose or damage. They need to be cleaned every time they come out. you have to use eye drops often. It's just not worth it just so you can see while you are sleeping and the few minutes after.
try Focus Dailies. wear them for one day (or more if you want to be risky), throw them out. sleep. put in a fresh pair. never have to clean them or worry about losing them. you can keep spares on you. they are individually cheap.
Switch to Acuvue advance! they are the best brand... comfy! totally.. there really nice.. try them, you'll love them.
