How can you be positive your soft contact lens is not in your eye?!

Question: I removed the right lens then when I went to remove left one I'm not sure what happened. Maybe it came out and I dropped it or it might still be in my eye. I can't find it in my eye and don't feel anything. Also my sight in my left eye is like no contact is in. Is it possible it is stuck high up under my eyelid? Would I feel it? I'm afraid to go to sleep if its still in.

I've had one slip further behind my eye and you will know if that happens. I've also had one just disappear out of my eye too. To make sure I just took my contact solution and held my eye open and ran a ton of it in my eye to wash it out, just in case.

I've had that happen and I can assure you that you WOULD feel it if it slipped behind your eye. Double check by taking out your solution and flushing it under your eyelid. It will fall out if it's there.

well iit happened to me and it was stuck in my upperlid i only felt something burning!! I rubbed my eyeball it fell out but if it doesnt work for u rinse ur eye with tons of water!!!!!!!
