Do i need to take my broken glasses to a optical store or how can i fix them?!

Question: it is my ear piece that broke off of the glasses not where the screw was but a little passed it

Answers: it is my ear piece that broke off of the glasses not where the screw was but a little passed it

A quick fix is to use heat shrink tubing to hold the pieces together. Then go to an independent optical shop and see if they have any spare temples that would fit your frame. I get my spare parts from donated frames so I never charge to replace them. They may not be able to match the color of your frame, but it beats buying a new pair if you don't have the money for it right now.

Sounds like a job for an optical repair shop. Places like Walmart do not do any kind of extensive repairs like that.

I fixed my moms with super glue, and she looked weird with them on afterwords, so I told her to buy new ones, and she never did... Also she trashed her fixed ones:-S

( I know that isn`t good but she don`t want to spend money in glasses, she prefer to ask what is in front of her:-S )

So please you pay attention to me, and go buy yourself some new ones;-)

just take them to an optical store they have the knowledge on how to fix or they might be able to fit you in other frames similar to those

Honestly, there really isn't a way to fix that particular problem even if you did take the glasses to an optical (short of super glue or soldering -- both of which would leave your glasses looking kind of funny). An optical may be able to order you another arm for your glasses if the frame model is still available. That is if they are willing to do that. Some opticals require that you purchase a whole new frame. They may be willing to cannibalize another frame and sell you one of it's arms, but chances are it will not match your current frame very well. I know that's not the news you wanted to hear, but I worked as an optician for five years, and I know exactly where your frame broke because that is, unfortunately, a typical spot for a break.

Many times, if you go back to the place you bought them, they often do repairs for free - I know mine does! This particular damage may not be repairable, but the store may be able to order you a new arm for your glasses. If that will cost too much (although it shouldn't), I'd look into getting new frames.
