The brand of contact lenses that you use is actually prescribed by your doctor. Everybody has different eyes and needs different things from contacts.
When your doctor gives you a prescription the brand of contacts will be written on the form, if you try to brand that you aren't prescribed you will be refused. That is assuming you go through a reputable office.
This is a question that needs to be directed to a doctor who has examined you. I've worked with many optometrists and they were all incredibly knowledgeable when it came to contacts.
The other reason you need to ask your doctor is that you can severely damage your eye if don't wear the correct contacts and you don't wear them properly.
Though, in general Acuvue Oasys is a really good brand, but it's depends on your needs.
