How Do Contacts "FEEL"???!

Question: like the first time you put them in???? OR just whenever...

Answers: like the first time you put them in???? OR just whenever...

The first time you put them in it feels a little awkward for a while. Once you get used to them, if they are in properly, you don't notice them at all.

if they are in properly they dont feel at all.

really annoying and not natural after 4 hours

I'm laughing at myself....I thought you meant "contacts" on Yahoo Answers...like, how does it FEEL to become one. Now I realize you meant Eye Contact Lenses. ha ha ha (Sorry, I can't help...I don't wear them).

Lol, I was like Cynthia too.
Scrolling thru the answers, I was like "What"?

the first time, it will feel a bit funny, and you will blink like a thousand times until it is actually sitting correctly
it does not take long for you to get used to them if they are the correct size and prescription
i have to use toric lenses for astigmatism, so mine are a bit larger than the norm, but they still feel comfortable

When I first got my contacts, I could sense a bit of an "edge", but it was soooo worth it to be able to see clearly and without a glasses rim. Pretty soon, you forget and you feel nothing at all. Contacts are the greatest invention ever!

For me, personally, since I have "dry eyes", it felt like LARGE BITS OF SAND in my eye that never went away...
I hated them...but then lots of people have no problem...

i tried them once upon a time or whatever, and they kinda tickled my eyes! i never did get used to it and in fact, i'd go to sort of rub my eye's because of the contacts, and they'd slip out of place and be hard to get out.........but thats just me

I too felt like Cynthia.
I added you as a contact,hope you don't mind;
I personally don't wear contacts.

They feel like you have an eye lash in your eye for the first few minutes they are in, especially when you blink. You may feel the edges of the lens. And it doesn't hurt, it just feel like an eyelash. After that, you really shouldn't *feel* them at all. Properly fitted contacts should fit so comfortably that you don't even notice them at all once you are used to them.

Te first time , it feels weird cause ur nawt used to it. But when you get used to it, it feels comforable, well it doesnt feel like ur wearing contacts at all.
