Is contacts better than glasses?!

I had glasses from age 2 til I was 13. Contacts are so much more liberating, especially if you get like Acuvue with hydraclear-I don't even take them out for around 3 weeks, then I just switch pairs. They rarely get dry, mostly you just have to be careful when you wake up, once in a while they will be dry then. As long as you get good ones your eyes won't get dry at all during the day.
No get them they are way cool!

no..they make artificial tears if they do get dried out..i would get contacts instead of glasses...i have glasses and i hate not being able to wear sun glasses in the summer time

but over the wknd i got one stuck and now my vessel burst and i have to use eyedrops and it hurts. :(
not always. wearing glasses is a pain in the a** but contacts can get infected and if they are put in wrong they can hurt a lot.
Contacts rock! I have had them for a long time, and it feel's like nothing is there. Great thing to get, go for it!
your eyes could get real dry, but contacts are in my opinion better because glasses can get in the way in sports or doing anything physical. Although contacts can give you dry eyes, it would be more convenient while using them. Glasses more stylish, contacts more convenient.
The bad:
Glasses: fall off you face, and fog up when you step into a warm room on a chilly day
Contacts: dry out eyes, can get debris in it very easily

There are loads of reasons which each are good, you should try them out and see what you think! Obviously it'll make a big difference to how you look, so you have to be prepared for that.
I have heard that contacts don't give you as good vision as glasses do, but I think that this is something that varies from person to person. Try them out and see if they work for you.
If fashion is a major deal for you, either could be good. You could opt for the contacts & maybe get some colors or you can opt for a good designer pair of glasses. It's ultimately up to you.

I dont really know but if your contact lenses fall out and there hard to find and alot more expensive but glasses break.... i would go for glasses

i have contacts; and they are GREAT but only if you get the acuve oasis because they are a gel and feel great in your eyes and are VERY easy to put in. they are a bit more expensive but not by much. also, you cant lose or break contacts! ~atleast while wearing them :-)
oh, and they wont make your eyes dry. if you buy the package, they will give you re-wetting drops that work on dry contacts or if you have something stuck in it. hope this helped! :-)
I prefer glasses but I have "disposable" contacts (3pr-$20) for intermittent work / use. I need the glasses for focus at all distances, the contacts just work for up-close. Sometimes dryness occurs.
depends on your eyes..do a trial pair for a few weeks. most eye docs will give you a free trial pair. you may have to try a few different brands in order to find the right type for you.
i'd stay with glasses.
several friends with their horror stories made me stayed with glasses.
I wouldn't know I don't need either but I have heard that contacts are better in some ways but glasses are also better. Contacts are better because you don't have glasses sitting on your nose but people I know like glasses because Contacts make their eyes wattery and irritated. So it just depends on what you like best.
Glasses are better, as they do not damage the eye. Contacts will dry, and rub, and scrape, against the eye and do damage. It is not worth it. Forget about contacts. Your vanity is not worth the pain, and damage.

Fist of all, it should depend on how old are you and if your resposible enough to use them. If so, they might be better to not get teased at.
BUT theres still risks for contacts: Someone I know slept with them on, and the contact sliped in the back of her eyeball! (NO JOKE!)
When she got it out, he eyeball was somewhat red.

I like contacts, but it really depends. For me glasses were sumtimes annoying xp. And i dont think ur eyes would get dry, n if they do, you can alwayz use rewetters to moisturize your eyes. So yeah.
