Putting contacts in and taking them out shouldn't hurt. You may feel a bit of discomfort at first while you are learning how to put them in and take them out but not pain! If you are experiencing pain I would suggest going back to your doctor and trying another brand of lenses, you may have sensitive eyes and may need a more sensitive brand. Hope this helps! Don't worry over time you will come to love your contacts and you won't feel any discomfort at all!

When you get your contacts at first, it's a bit awkward when you put them in or take them out, and you might feel like you have a hair in your eye, but they do not hurt.

Taking contacts out is absolutely painless, but it does seem weird the first few times.

If this is a matter of touching your eye, try it without contacts. It doesnt hurt because you dont use much pressure... just watch the nails.

No, it doesn't hurt at all unless your really rough..

I'm the only one I know who has never had a problem putting them in, even the first time. I think it was because I have big eyes and when I was little I used to get all sorts of things in my eyes (like eye lashes, dirt, and small bugs) and my parents had to get them out.

Even people who have discomfort at first can about 10 months later sit at a table without a mirror, take them out and put them back in so easily. So I wouldn't worry about it.

To tell you you the truth i seriously just started wearing them the easiest part is taking them out but the hard part is putting them in cause sometimes it hurts or they might fall or get dirty or might rip i hope i helped And DO NOT take contact lenses out with your nail or that will hurt or damage your eye

I happen to have contacts and have had them since the summer of 06. When I first got them and began putting them in and taking them out I always went out of my way to show people how badly it hurt even though I was in no pain. I have no idea why I did this but I've heard that other people have done that, too. Now I've gotten pretty good at taking out my contacts and putting them in and it doesn't hurt a bit. If your eyes hurt while taking out your contacts you should definitely see your eye doctor or change your contact pair. You could also make sure the solution you're using is OK for your contacts and if you want you could switch contact formulas. I really hope I helped!
