Does your "number" affect the cost of your contact lenses?!

Question: im panning to get contacts and my number is really high..[[i think]] haha well does that affect the price?

How near or far sighted you are shouldn't affect the cost of your lenses. However, if you have an astigmatism - cornea shaped like a football instead of a basketball, then your lenses could cost more. Most people have an astigmatism, but it will only affect the cost of your lenses if it is more than 1.00 diopters.

Recommendations: Make sure you clean your lenses, so that you don't get infections. Have a back-up set of glasses in case your lenses tear or you do get an infection.
