Just cannot keep my eyes open in class?!

Question: It is partially due to lack of sleep and partially because I have dry eyes. I do use drops tho. It seems like my eyes are always droopy and narrow. It makes my face look like I have no emotion. I'm azn and don't need more slanted eyes as it is. As hard as I try to keep them open and undroopy, I always fail. I yawn about a thosunads times but it doesn't help.

Any suggestions? Vitamens I could take, eye massages, foods? REally want to overcome this problem. Thanks in advance!

You need to get more regular sleep, simple as that. Your eyes are droopy and dry because they are strained due to being tired. You may want to try putting some dry uncooked rice in a clean sock...socks ....and microwave to get it warm. These make very good warm compresses that you can apply to your eyes at bedtime. These will help you to relax, and reduce puffiness of your eyes as well. Most important....sleep!

Try getting more rest, or in the morning wash you face with a warm wash cloth that wakes me up.

It may be psychological, a means of escape from an unpleasant situation. Make sure that you're thoroughly prepared for each and every class, having done all the reading and assignments in advance. You may have to work harder than the other students, but that's okay.

Well, getting more sleep is the obvious solution, but if that isn't possible, maybe you need glasses or contacts? I found that when i take my contacts out, i get really tired cause i can't see anything! Anyhoo, are you taking any medication that can make you drowsy? Start drinking coffee! It REALLY helps me! If that doesn't work, toothpicks are always an option (to hold your eyelids open...heehee!) just kidding! Well, hope i helped!
