From the picture, the condition I see is Amblyopia or yes "lazy eye" although I find that word distasteful because there is no "laziness" of either the eye or the amblyope involved in the condition. The reason this happens is either none at all or poor transmission of images to the brain for long periods (like early childhood). I cannot tell exactly how old you are in this picture but many people with this condition have it either mildly or are not even aware that they have it until an older age and vision in that eye will be comparable to the vision in their good eye (your right eye). Alot of people also complain of poor depth perception, but you didn't mention anything about it and not all people do have that symptom. Treatment involves wearing an eye patch over your good eye and ..for lack of a better word penalizing it too encourage your left eye to pick up the slack. The faster you get treated and the younger the better. Good luck sweetie.

yes, but if you have a lazy eye you cant see from that eye. u should got to the eye doctor just in case. since you cant see from one i eye, you do have a lazy eye. i have a lazy eye and when you get your glasses, one may be thick and the other one thin. That is because you have different prescription in that eye. I suggest you got to the doctor so it may get treated. you should wear an eye patch so light can gi through the other eye. but it takes a ling time for your vision to get better.

Idk.. can you see through that eye?? if so, i think your fine.. go to the eye doc and ask.

No.

Could be, only a medical practitioner/eye specialist can answer this one for you?

Lazy eyes are common and you CAN see through them usually. The word "lazy" is used b/c it doesn't focus on what you are trying to focus on. The muscles are weak and that can usually be repaired with surgery. It is common to have different vision in both eyes. Most people don't have 20/20 vision. But you definitely have a lazy eye.

I had a freind that could move her eyes independantly- what you did in your pic looks like that- forgive me I dont remember what it is called! :S

haven't you seen your eye doctors yet??? i think its best to consult with your eye doctor ASAP...

It looks like you have amblyopia-a condition in which the brain never received good visual ques during early development (early childhood). It is usually seen when one eye is in need of a stronger Rx than the other. The brain will tune out the images from the "bad" eye and concentrate on the images from the "good" eye. The eye itself is usually physically functional and the miscommunication is in the brain.

An eye patch and vision therapy can strengthen your left eye. To what extent only your doctor will be able to tell you.
