Okay well I have to get a new contact prescription...?!

Question: because the one i got at the end of July isn't a crisp on my eyes anymore and I get daily headaches by they end of school. Oh I'm 13 and in 8th grade too. Anyway, I have a slight astigmatism in my left eye but it isn't corrected with contacts because its too small, I have one in my right eye too but I have a toric lense for it. Well anyway, is it normal to get a new prescription in a course of 6 months? My dad thinks it's really wierd that I can't see as well as before. And do you think the doctor will give me a toric lense for my left eye now too since I know it got worse?

If you're only 13, your eyes are growing like the rest of you! It's not uncommon at all for kids and teens to need a new prescription within 6 months. I would have them re-evaluated by your optometrist. Many times, the Dr. will only charge for an office visit instead of the full exam fee if it is within 1 year of your last exam. I would say it's worth checking into, especially if you have daily headaches!

well he will test your eyes agian and see whats rong if the astigmatism has gotten worse and he thinks you need toric lenses then yes he will it may have gotten worse but not worse enought so we will, see hay see what happends dont worry just make an apiontment to see your eye doc

i am who i am
